The Benchmade Meatcrafter is the ideal combination of a hunting knife and a kitchen tool, designed for maximum versatility from field to table. The Meatcrafter’s blade features a long, slender profile, making it perfect for portioning, deboning, and precisely trimming meat. The blade is made from CPM‑154 steel, an improved version of 154CM produced since 2004 by Crucible Industries. This steel offers excellent toughness thanks to its relatively low vanadium content, allowing the blade to withstand impact and lateral pressure without chipping or breaking easily. In addition, CPM‑154 is relatively easy to sharpen and offers good corrosion resistance.

The blade is finished with a black DLC (Diamond‑Like Carbon) coating, which not only gives the knife a rugged appearance but also reduces friction while cutting and significantly increases wear resistance.

The ergonomically shaped handle is made from durable and lightweight G10, a composite of woven fiberglass and epoxy resin. This material is highly durable, provides a premium look, and sits comfortably in the hand. Thanks to the slightly heavier rear section, the knife is perfectly balanced, ensuring comfortable handling and maximum control.

Transport is equally well considered: with the robust yet lightweight FRN sheath (fiberglass‑reinforced nylon), you can safely and easily carry the Meatcrafter from the campfire to the kitchen.
