The Benchmade Bailout Black is a pocket knife you can rely on, designed for missions or simply for use at home. With the Bailout, Benchmade proves that you don’t have to sacrifice functionality when choosing a lightweight knife—the perfect blend between a tactical knife and an EDC knife. The tanto blade is made from outstanding CPM M4 steel, a tool steel known for its exceptional hardness and edge retention, making it an excellent choice for everyday carry. The edge is razor-sharp and features a pronounced tip, allowing for surprising precision in use.

The blade is finished with a cobalt black Ceracoat coating. This coating not only gives the blade a unique appearance but also provides excellent reflection reduction. The Bailout features the well-known AXIS® lock, a manual sliding mechanism that securely locks the blade in place. The CNC-milled anodized aluminum handle features an attractive pattern that gives the knife a distinctive look. Aluminum is lightweight, refined in appearance, and highly wear-resistant.
